Summer Workshop
Sculp and Weld
In this class we will explore the combination of metal and clay. Learning to incorporate the two and firing them together brings spontaneity to the work. In addition, having the ability to weld you can create your forms and will no longer be limited to using found objects. I will demonstrate my techniques using my sculpture clay, paper clay and casting slip. The first week we will focus on working in clay and discus your ideas. Please bring drawings of what you intend to work on. Of course this may change as you go but two weeks will go by very fast! I will teach gas welding once we get going with the clay. These workshops are very exciting as each student brings knowledge and adventure which make the possibilities seem endless! Contact me for availability!

$700.00 for workshop. Additonal fees for firing and clay
